Stephen J. “Tio” Kleberg, a fifth-generation member of the King Ranch, has devoted more than 50 years to its growth and innovation. As vice president of agricultural operations, he revitalized the Quarter Horse program, helped develop the Santa Cruz cattle breed, and advanced wildlife conservation. He later served on the ranch’s board and held leadership roles with the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute and the East Foundation. Inducted into the AQHA Hall of Fame in 1997, Kleberg is widely respected for his faith, integrity, and lifelong dedication to ranching and conservation
