Ranch Verse was all it was made out to be: authentic, compelling and insightful. Poetry, songs and stories flowed through the Red McCombs Main Gallery at the inaugural Ranch Verse event this past weekend, as some of the biggest folks in the business shared on the roots of ranching. It was surely one for the books!
As for the SOLD-OUT evening concert at the historic Cactus Theater, the story continued with live performances from our cowboying legends. Boot stompin‘ and head noddin‘, the theater was an embodiment of joy and admiration, watching these fine folks do what they do best.
Thank you to all of you who joined us for Ranch Verse and to those who supported from afar. And a special thanks to the storytellers themselves—Red Steagall, Dave Stamey, Andy Hedges, Andy Wilkinson, Boots O’Neal, and Randy Rieman—for supporting the NRHC mission of preserving ranching heritage, as well as educating upcoming generations on the cowboying livelihood and its vitality in keeping our land and people cared for.
Your stories matter.
