A private ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Cash Family Ranch Life Learning Center featuring Hank the Cowdog took place at 2:00 pm on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023 at the National Ranching Heritage Center (NRHC) at Texas Tech University signifying the grand opening of the new educational facility.
The program included special words from Texas Tech University Vice President for Advancement Byron Kennedy, Texas Tech University President Dr. Lawrence Schovanec, NRHC Executive Director Jim Bret Campbell, Texas Tech University System Vice Chancellor for Facilities, Planning & Construction Billy Breedlove, and Ranching Heritage Association President Mark Kirkpatrick.
