Everything you experience through the National Ranching Heritage Center in Lubbock, Texas, is made possible in large part by members of the Ranching Heritage Association.
Founded in 1969, the Ranching Heritage Association provides primary financial and volunteer support for the National Ranching Heritage Center at Texas Tech University. The Center’s mission, to preserve and interpret ranching history and heritage, is carried out at the Center itself—an incredible 27-acre facility and historical park—and nationally through outreach and education programs.
Members of the Ranching Heritage Association contribute to the ongoing success of the center by providing financial support, volunteering their time, and participating in events and programs. The association serves as a community of individuals passionate about ranching culture and history, working collaboratively to ensure the continued success and growth of the National Ranching Heritage Center as a prominent institution dedicated to showcasing the legacy of American ranching. Through its initiatives, the Ranching Heritage Association ensures the future of ranching and the longevity of values held dearly across generations.
