Traditions: Activity 2, Ranch Life Book 2: Cowboys & Horses

Students explore the concept of “tradition” by identifying examples from the reading and reflecting on those present in their own lives. While reading Chapter 2, learners note cowboy traditions such as attire, storytelling, and community gatherings, comparing them to family or cultural customs they experience today. This lesson builds cultural awareness, vocabulary, and understanding of how shared practices strengthen community identity and continuity across generations.
