Dogs Beware!: Activity 5, Ranch Life Book 3: Ranch Wildlife

Students apply mapping and critical thinking skills to identify where dangerous wildlife species are most likely to be found on a ranch. After reading Chapters 4 and 5, learners use information about animal behaviors, habitats, and movement patterns to mark potential locations of risk on the M-Cross Ranch map. This lesson reinforces spatial reasoning, geography, and the importance of understanding animal habitats for safety and ranch management.
