Hunting with Hank: Activity 4, Ranch Life Book 3: Ranch Wildlife

Students analyze how hunting regulations influence the health and sustainability of wildlife populations on a ranch. Building on the “Oh Deer!” activity from the Project WILD K–12 Curriculum, learners explore how laws and conservation efforts balance animal populations, habitat resources, and economic needs. After reading Chapter 2, students connect ranching decisions to broader principles of wildlife management and responsible stewardship.
