Hank’s Crazy Creature Creation: Activity 12, Ranch Life Book 3: Ranch Wildlife

Students design their own “crazy creature” by combining animal traits that enhance survival and usefulness on a ranch. After completing Book 3: Ranch Wildlife, learners apply knowledge of structure and function to imagine how physical characteristics contribute to both ecological and economic value. This creative activity integrates art, science, and critical thinking to help students understand adaptation, sustainability, and the diverse roles animals play within a ranch ecosystem.
